Project Superintendent

Description

King Construction Services, Inc. has an opening for a full-time Project Superintendent in the Washington County, Maine area.

We are seeking a qualified Project Superintendent to provide on-site coordination for all phases of construction projects, including coordinating subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.

The qualified candidate should possess the following qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years in commercial construction
• Experience with construction projects over $1 million
• Ability to read and understand project specifications and drawings
• Experience in coordinating building trades in a team environment
• OSHA 10 or 30 training
• General understanding of all aspects of construction
• Good communication skills, written and oral
• Excellent attention to detail
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel

Project Manager

Description

King Construction Services, Inc. is currently accepting applications for a full-time Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining scheduling, enforcing adherence of field supervisors to project  schedules, processing submittals, coordinating and attending project meetings, preparing project requisitions, communicating with subcontractors, and a variety of similar tasks as assigned.

We expect you to have a minimum of five years’ experience as a project manager for commercial construction projects, working knowledge of Microsoft Office or other comparable software, excellent attention to details, and ability to work and communicate well with others. Experience with estimating is preferred.
